When i get asked what my favorite session is, the answer is always this laguna beach boudoir session. This beautiful soul’s name is Kimmy. I actually met her while photographing a wedding in France in 2017. Kimmy was assisting the wedding planner of that wedding, but we have stayed in close touch over the years.

Kimmy is one of those people that are your biggest cheerleader, supporting you from all corners of the earth. It was my absolute honor to photograph this heartfelt laguna beach boudoir session for her. These photos are some of my favorite i’ve ever taken, obviously one reason being that it is epic light and colors on that Pacific Coast. But the other reason is because i feel as though Kimmy’s whole personality and character was a perfect match for the landscape setting. She was absolutely thriving during this session. She was one with earth, one with sun, and one with herself. It’s so clearly evident in these pictures, and i’ll be forever grateful for them.

Boudoir is seriously so much more than photos. It’s about photographing your human self. All of the precious skin you’re in and showcasing that one of a kind personality, from the outside in. I’m so so thankful for this job.
